Radiation Fears

Sons of bitches.

The Transportation Security Administration is re-analyzing the radiation levels of X-ray body scanners installed in airports nationwide, after testing produced dramatically higher-than-expected results.

The TSA, which has deployed at least 500 body scanners to at least 78 airports, said Tuesday the machines meet all safety standards and would remain in operation despite a “calculation error” in safety studies. The flawed results showed radiation levels 10 times higher than expected.

While many people in the US are fearful of radiation from Japan coming over here and getting them, there is a serious lack of interest in the radiation Americans were subject to by our government.

At least the Japanese people can take heart that the badly designed and out of date nuclear reactor only failed after an historic earthquake (9.0) and the following tsunami (slate wiper) and that their government didn’t lie to them, their power company did.  Everyone is freaking out about radiation that will travel thousands of miles across the ocean, disbursed along the way to safe levels that are not likely to be more than the radiation we get every day.

We Americans get to thank our government for willfully radiating us as they bullied and belittled us, badgered us.  They touched us, in THOSE places when we refused to comply.  They touched our children.  They VIOLATED us when we refused to trust them.

And now, oops, their bad.

WTF.  Law suits.  Lots of law suits.

Lawlessness.
