Instapundit posted this reader suggested amendment to the US Constitution:

Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States .

I say – Oh hell yeah, that’s absolutely right on target. YES. AMEN. I’ll vote for that one right now. As it stands, the Congress has exempted themselves from the dreck/pork/crazy-time health care bill they are attempting to ram through. What the heck is up with that?

Our word for the day, children, is “Corruption”.

Snowstorm Squelches Climate Change Protest.

LMAO!

Protesting “Climate Change” is like protesting the passage of time or the speed of light. Good luck with that. Climate change has been a consistent and ongoing process since the creation of the universe and this planet.

It’s just funny that this phenomenon – snow storms cancelling anti-AGW activities – is known as “The Gore Effect”. Usually that’s because every time he rides into town aboard his private carbon spewing jet to speechify about how no one should fly anymore – it snows. Like that record setting snowstorm in Hopenhagen earlier this month. At this point it seems like this winter is all about a generalized Gore Effect.

They are right. The footage of her death focused much needed attention on the Iranian regimes crazy time.

Below are the videos of her death. Why repost them? Because the fight continues in Iran, ignored largely by the media in the West. It isn’t convenient to be reminded of the repression in Iran when our POTUS is trying so hard to be nice to the repressors.

Neda was shot by a Basiji while watching a protest. She was just watching.

RIP Neda.

The Day After Snowmaggedon

That name just cracks me up. Heh. I took these pictures about noon today after we finished shoveling the driveway.

How’s that for a pile of snow? That was mostly just digging out the front walk and a tiny bit of the driveway.

The color is off here, but I kind of like the blueness of the snow.

20 ish inches. Mostly 19.5.

I wish it came through, the snow was all individual six sided flakes, powder. That’s rather unusual in Maryland. The snow was so shiney!
